Day 1 Wed: Sydney - Canberra
Today our highlights are a barbecue lunch, sheep shearing demonstration at a
working sheep station, a city tour of Canberra and a guided tour of
Parliament House. This evening enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour
Director.

Day 2 Thu: Snowy Mountains
Our highlights today include: charming Cooma, gateway to the Snowy
Mountains; Lake Jindabyne and stunning mountain scenery in Kosciuszko
National Park. We also enjoy a journey along the picturesque Alpine Way and
a unique overnight stay in one of the Bed & Breakfast properties in historic
Beechworth.

Day 3 Fri: Beechworth - Melbourne
This morning we take a sightseeing tour of historic Beechworth with time to
explore the galleries, gardens, and antique and gift shops. Later, we enjoy
a wine tasting and lunch at the Rutherglen Wine Experience Centre, before
continuing our journey through Ned Kelly country to the cosmopolitan city of
Melbourne. Evening at leisure.

Day 4 Sat: Melbourne at leisure
You have a full day at leisure to explore Melbourne at your own pace -
perhaps visit Phillip Island and its famous fairy penguins, try your luck
gold panning at Sovereign Hill or simply enjoy the wonderful shopping and
great cafés and restaurants. (B)
Day 5 Sun: Great Ocean Road
Today we experience incredible coastal scenery along the famous Great Ocean
Road including the amazing Twelve Apostles, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge
formations in Port Campbell National Park. You can also look for whales off
the scenic coastline of Warrnambool (May and October).

Day 6 Mon: Coorong - Sunset Cove
Our touring today includes highlights such as the mysterious Blue Lake in
Mount Gambier and a visit to The Coorong. At the Coorong Wilderness Lodge
enjoy an informative walk among the sand dunes of this spectacular area with
an Aboriginal guide. We stay overnight in picturesque Sunset Cove.

Day 7 Tue: Sunset Cove - Kangaroo Island
Today we take a scenic ferry cruise from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island and
enjoy a full day of touring, including lunch, visiting Flinders Chase
National Park (home to kangaroos and koalas), the spectacular formations of
Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch. We also take a memorable walk among the
Sea Lions at famous Seal Bay.

Day 8 Wed: Kangaroo Island - Adelaide
This morning we cruise by ferry back to Cape Jervis and discover elegant
Adelaide on a city tour including a visit to Glenelg. The evening is free
for you to explore Adelaide and dine at a local restaurant.

Day 9 Thu: Barossa Valley
Discover the famous wine region of the Barossa Valley. Today we travel the
scenic Chains of Ponds to the Whispering Wall; visit Chateau Yaldara winery
for a tour and tasting and explore the historic town of Tanunda. You'll also
take in panoramic views from Mengler Hill Lookout; visit the Angas Park
Fruit Centre and a stop at Jacob's Creek Winery for further wine tastings,
before continuing to the Resort.

Day 10 Fri: Barossa Valley - Mildura
This morning we visit Banrock Station and its Interpretative Centre where
you can learn about the fascinating wetlands. This afternoon why not take
the opportunity to travel to Mungo National Park and discover the flora,
fauna and ancient landscapes from an Aboriginal perspective? Alternatively
you might like to enjoy an optional dinner at Stefano de Pieri's restaurant
on the Avoca Paddlesteamer - see your Tour Director for details.

Day 11 Sat: Mildura - Wagga Wagga
Our highlights today include a visit to historic Hay on the Murrumbidgee and
Darling Rivers and the picturesque scenery of the Riverina district
including country towns such as Narrandera. We overnight in the town of
Wagga Wagga which features spectacular gardens, historic machinery, arts and
crafts and a beautiful river and lake.

Day 12 Sun: Blue Mountains - Sydney
Today we discover the delightful scenery of mid-western New South Wales and
the picturesque Blue Mountains where we see the Three Sisters formation. On
arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to Sydney Airport for your onward
flight. (B)
